The vision for this remodel was to create a space that paid special attention to the beautiful landscape and backyard environment. We chose to enhance the hillside as part of the design rather than simply a backdrop. Terraced greenery, strategically placed glass windows, layered outdoor seating areas, and the soft curved pool layout were designed to work with the natural setting and views beyond it.
This Glendale full home remodel was meticulously planned to comply with Glendale Building & Safety hillside codes. The remodel included a complete interior and exterior transformation centered around openness, flow, and connection to the surrounding hillside. Highlights include the custom floating staircase with black steel railings and wood treads, oversized marble slab fireplaces and kitchen surfaces, coffered ceilings, and expansive sliding glass doors.
